I like the concept of doing the beetle bug in black and white, I am quite fond of the idea in itself. I like the angle you used for it as well. How it's in the bottom corner rather than dead center and right in your face. I'm not pro photographer, so these are just simple notices of course. First it seems a bit dark, until you get it "big" it seems darkened and the detail isn't completely there even when you full-view. Another thing I noticed was that there seems to be a lot of noise in the background. I understand that may be intentional, and the back doesn't matter so much as the back of the beetle seems to go out of focus. Which is actually okay to a point since you focused the detail on the face and front of him really well. Nice work.
